The quality of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tablets depends on the method of drying these tablets. Companies used to adopt solar houses to dry tablets, which can meet the industry related requirements and reduce costs. But now a small number of companies think that solar houses are not reasonably designed. These houses have small area and can no longer meet the production requirements. They only have dustproof function and fail to provide such devices as ventilation system, dehumidifier, shelf, etc. This may result in low speed of the drying equipment. Our in-house developed belt dryer has given full consideration to the features of the traditional Chinese medicine tablets. It has the capability to dry these tablets in all weathers. In contrast with the natural drying method, this equipment is more hygienic. It can reduce drying time and suit mass production.

Equipment description:
The belt dryer is composed of feeding system, material distribution system, air filtration system, heating & cooling system, main body, transmission system, bypass filtration system, discharging system, exhaust system, control system and so forth. Materials are fed, distributed and then added to the belt dryer. After that, they come into contact with hot air and cold air for the transfer of heat and mass. Hot air is recycled, which contributes to lower energy consumption. Moisture is taken out of the material, and then the drying and cooling process is completed.
